Sociology Lecturer Gregory Jackson sent the Open Council the idea for this mask of a grinning cheshire cat. Gregory told us:

"I've just been reading a book about art and revolution and there was a great story in it about Louis Althusser and how he used to liken the revolutionary atmosphere in 1968 to the grin of a cheshire cat, but he would never see the cat just the grin....I thought it would be a good mask."
